as we all know I have long wavy hair.
I have had the same color and the same layered length ( give or take a few inched) forever.

I need a new thing going on with it.
anyone here an expert, and maybe can point me in the right direction without spending a fortune???

I will still keep it long, but I think I am in a rut.

sleep patterns

sorry I am inondating you all today, but I have had this issue..really a subscription is more like it.. heh heh

about my sleeping patterns.

Lately over the past few weeks, I have been going to bed at a reasonable hour, lets say 11:00, and waking up after 3 hours pretty much every night. I will be up for about an hour or 2 trying to go back to sleep- then I will, but maybe for 3-4 hours, then I have to wake up at 7-7:30 for work. It is really disturbing, and my eyes feel really heavy and tired the next day. Coffee does not help that really.

I have been not drinking a lot of tea like I used to at night, and I do not drink a few cups of coffee a day anymore like I used to.

anyone had this issue? what did you do? i do not want to take benzos or sleeping pills if I can help it.

Phil's coffee on 24th and folsom- YUM- like methamphetamines! seriously- best shit I have ever had. He supposedly makes his own beans, then puts mint leaves and other things along with sugar and creme to make it extra tasty-

cold or allergy?

I never get allergies, really, but I did just move to the woods in a sense. I have been feeling wierd- itchy throat, watering eyes etc for over a week- a little runny nose, but not a lot. I sort of feel like I have a heavy head at times, but when I get to work it subsides. I do not think it is a cold necessarily, but maybe allergies. Is there anything anyone recommends for allergies?

I also just moved to Los Altos Hills- I got a 2 bedroom cottage with lots of land for the dogs, and it is close to work. I have a HUGE deck and a large backyard- lots of trees. We are in nature, and we are also in richville- very close to downtown Los Altos, and Palo Alto where I lived for many years.- A horse lives next door, Groove got sprayed by a skunk already, and tonight Groove and the neighbors dog chased 2 deer through the woods. Very exciting indeed. Greyley is having fun too- soon I will have a brunch or something for folks who do not fear to tread past SF county.

I am finally moving to the city! I will be there in my new apartment in about 2 weeks- as soon as I get packing..heh

I will be living in Glen Park with my girlie Jennifer Clemente and my friend Mitchell Lopez (Aleman)is his name on tribe. He can home brew pretty well, and that will be good incentive to start doing that again myself. I want to make root beer again. The last time I did that I used honey ( to see what would happen) instead of sugar. It was all okay except some bottles exploded..heh heh. I miss home brewing especially hearing the bubbling noises when the beer is doing it's thing. I used to keep the containers in my room and sleep to the noises...probably more than you wanted to read..but anyway-back to topic-

Groove and Greyley are going too of course. We found an 1800 square foot place with 3 decks, and it is surrounded by hills and grass and trees. It is up on the hills off of O Shaunessy on your way up to Portola ( Market Street) 43 Valetta Court. I am so excited- I can BART to work, and a friend of mine is going to be my dog walker!!

yay!

On another note- I want to thank all of you who were able to make it to the party last night. You guys rule, and some of you have never missed an event I have had EVER! I really appreciate that. We will be having a housewarming sometime in April- closer to the end of the month- Stay tuned..

something that bugs me..

is when total strangers try to friend me- I do not accept, and they try it again, and I do not accept <again> asking them how they know me and why they want to be in my friend "pile." Usually if I write them and ask that they leave me alone. No one seems to have the guts enough to say why they want me to add them as far as I can tell. No one has ever written me back!
<shrug>

Does anyone else get this? I get strangers writing at least 1-2x a day, and I know it possibly cannot be all about my good looks! : ) heh heh heh..

today I was giving the dogs their fav. snack- a small milk bone with peanut butter on it..and I could smell myself, and I smelled like mans deodorant..I just recently switched deodorant and it did not say "mans" on it, and I smelled it in the store and it seemd fine. I suppose I have been wearing it for about a week now, and I just noticed it on me. It is like "arm and Hammer" brand but I usually use "secret" although I do not know why it is such a secret.

How was everyones weekend??
Mine was GREAT for the most part.
Friday I planned a party with friends...yesterday I had an awesome dinner and a good time, and today I did nothing but lay around, talk on the phone and answer e mails..and sometimes pacified my tribe addiction.

What about you- everyone I have talked to had a great weekend. It was such a beautiful day today especially here at the beach!

I am on the "Hopeless Romantics" tribe, and I just saw this thread that you have to go check out.
It was a thread about dedicating love songs to someone- they asked you what the song would be, who you would dedicate it to, and what would you say on the radio to that person.....

Whoa! I forgot all about that "thing" that people do.

Have any of you ever done that?

The only time I ever requested a song on the radio was like in 3rd grade. I had a baby sitter and I begged her to let me call in a request for a song on the radio. Guess what it was?

I just ran into a friend at the post office- that was a very cool thing. This girl and I seem to run into each other in the most obscure places, and it has happened 3 times in the past month or so. Niether of us had ever been to that particular post office before- and the last time we ran into each other, we had never been there before either.. strange.

She swore up and down she wasn't stalking me, but I am not so sure about that now... heh heh

I have never had so many friend requests in one day as I have today from like people I do not know. I think it was a high traffic day today on tribe.. Everyone was sweet but I wonder how they found me on here. I suppose I do not cruise tribe really...

Anyway- How is everyone doing? I am having a pretty f**king lazy weekend...I am still in my PJ's. I leave the house and I get back in them...

I took my dogs on a date this am- we went to breakfast- just the dogs and I. They like that. We sat and had eggs benedict and everyone loved them as usual..
Anyway- not much news to tell..

I _have_ been feeling much much better as of late. Getting out more..met some nice new people the other day...

a roommate. Most of you all have been here to my house, It is super. I kind of want to stay here. I am keeping my options open for now- if you know of anyone that mif=ght be interested in living with the dogs and I let me know! Forward this as you see fit!

The roommate would get the share of the house plus
own bedroom- lots of closet space- and lots of closet space in the house in general
washer/dryer
share of the space in the garage
cable modem/routers already here
a deck, yard and an ocean view from every room practically
Share of a large office- they could bring 2 more comouters and it would be ok
me- a fabulous easy going person that just wants common courtesy
2 dogs to play with that are good and well behaved
If they have a green thumb- the backyard has potential
I would be willing to re decorate and integrate this person's things in the mix with my stuff- get rid of some of my stuff plus paint.

I have commuted to south bay and peninsula with out much problem, and I currently commute to SF with ease
Close to half moon bay and Pacifica- shops and restaurants coffee/pizza/great corner store with in walking distance
10 minute walk to beach and tide pools

Let me know if you know of anyone or you are interested in quiet beach living at it's finest.

hi all!
I know a lot of you really haven't seen me lately...
I have been reclusing as of late- a combination of things, but as some of you know I was unemployed until feb of 2003- then got laid off- took another job in August- lost it in October, and took another job this past December. I actually got hired on my way home from the interview and I startd Dec 15th.
On the 9th of this month (last week) I was given a 2 week notice of layoff because my program is undergoing a several million dollar budget cut.... and since I was the last one hired, I get the axe. I suppose they should have thought about the budget before they hired me this time...anyway- they cut someone else in my program, but he has been working part time and going to law school. They gave him the option to stay and work full time, or just quit and go to school. If he leaves, I might be able to stay, but again this am I was reminded that I might not have a job in 2 weeks. So I am at the drawing board again! Even if I am able to stay I am still looking for other options. I am sort of worried- I am also trying to move out of my house and into the city to be closer to work and friends- and I was counting on my job to provide me the money to relocate. Anyway- I am going to continue with that as planned- the dogs and I want to get out of Moss Beach. It has been a great place to live, but I cannot afford it anymore, and they want to sell the place.
Anyway- I have been a little depressed, and I have had some family issues that have been disconcerting. Hence the reason most of you have not seen me in ages. I tend to recluse and not reach out when I am this way. I have been getting "where the hell are you" e mails from various people, so I thought I would blanket what is going on here!
On another note, the dogs are fine- Groove and Grey went to Ft. Funston yesterday and ran into an old dog friend of theirs. We also saw a 168 lb Malamute and a huge St. Bernard. I had never seen a St. Bernard live before I do not think. They both made my dogs look like very small dogs, but Groove nevertheless was trying to play with them. They just rolled their eyes at him.

Anyway- I just wanted to write to you all and say Hi- and state that I am alive. I have been thinking about you all, and I hope your holidays were good, and that everyone is well!

okay, firstly i hafta say that i gladly, gleefully, gratefully accept my angelfish acolyte status and i shall kneel at her sexy feet, next time i see her, to make it official.
