cold or allergy?

topic posted Wed, November 10, 2004 - 11:44 AM by  Unsubscribed
I never get allergies, really, but I did just move to the woods in a sense. I have been feeling wierd- itchy throat, watering eyes etc for over a week- a little runny nose, but not a lot. I sort of feel like I have a heavy head at times, but when I get to work it subsides. I do not think it is a cold necessarily, but maybe allergies. Is there anything anyone recommends for allergies?
thanks.

The disturbing bit is "a little runny nose" Is this different than your regular nose?
    Do you have two?

Dunno if it'd help at this point (if you do have a cold), but I'm a new Zicam fan (homeopathic/homophobic/whatever nasal gel that, when you take it at the first sign of a cold, it either stops it from happening or makes it shorter).

Have you tried a neti pot? They're pretty cool and work nicely.

someone else was just telling me about the zicam...it has zinc right? I take cold eeze lozenges which have zinc at the first feeling of a cold. I am feeling better now, but I do not think I am completely out of the woods. The FLU is actually going to happen at my work any day now..my business manager has had it- fever and everything., I an trying not to ge into her office.

          thanks for the suggestions!
